They have a welded 1” flat top so that you can glue your magnets to your glass and have a nice solid attachment. These are steel and you can paint or let them be natural with weather. I use them with our 10” flowers and our largest Dragonflies. You need to buy good magnets by the weight of your piece. I suggest rare earth magnets from Magnets4less.com
The 49” stands take a 50” box so be aware that the postal companies add $7 to shipping for anything over 30” but they are worth it. Our boxes will fit a good amount of the stands!!
